My Own Path

I have travelled to many distant places, but my favourite destinations are still the ones I have discovered by accident.

Places that I can meander along a winding path in the forest or bush, where the space is completely my own for the time I am there.

Alone, but not lonely.

Winter is my time. The crisp, cool air refreshes my breath, I delight in the new shoots of winter grass that coat the hill side and all the inhabitants of this track revel in the moisture that evaded them this summer gone.
